GEOGRAPHY

Undoubtedly the most popular destination of all the Caribbean, Cozumel, is the ultimate paradise for scuba divers. No wonder the Maya Indians have enjoyed Cozumel for over 17 centuries.
Eleven miles off the Yucatan Peninsula, 45 miles south of Cancun (20 minutes by air) and only a 4 hour flight from Montreal and 1 1/4 hour flight from Miami Cozumel is indeed a choice destination.

COZUMEL

Reefs like Palancar, Santa Rosa, Yocab, Columbia and Maracaibo to name only a few will sweep you along in a shallow water drift dive then around cliffs and canyons, only to have you slide into tunnels and then to suddenly find yourself looking down a 800 feet drop from atop a overhanging cliff.
The small town of San Miguel will charm and surprise you. Whether you chose the beautiful botanical garden by the Chankanab lagoon or the museum or the San Gervasio archaeological site you and your family will always be caught by the sites. Restaurants are also varied and suited to your budget.
